Super simple garlic knots

Garlic knots are an easy snack or side dish and are ready in minutes with store-bought pizza dough.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. store-bought pizza dough, at room temperature
  • All-purpose flour, for rolling out dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated on a microplane
  • Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. On a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin or your hands, roll or stretch the dough to a 10-inch square.
  4. Cut the square in half and then half again to make 4 smaller squares. Cut each of those into 6 strips.
  5. Tie each strip into a knot and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 7 minutes, then rotate the pan and bake an additional 7 minutes or until golden.
  7. While the knots bake, combine the butter, oil and garlic in a small pan and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. As soon as you take the knots out of the oven, brush them with the butter mixture. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
