Super simple garlic knots

Serves: 24 pieces
- 1 lb. store-bought pizza dough, at room temperature
- All-purpose flour, for rolling out dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, grated on a microplane
- Salt
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin or your hands, roll or stretch the dough to a 10-inch square.
- Cut the square in half and then half again to make 4 smaller squares. Cut each of those into 6 strips.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 7 minutes, then rotate the pan and bake an additional 7 minutes or until golden.
- While the knots bake, combine the butter, oil and garlic in a small pan and cook for 2 minutes.
- As soon as you take the knots out of the oven, brush them with the butter mixture. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
