This delicious Fall bourbon cocktail combines apple cider, cinnamon and a hint of thyme with bourbon for an easy-to-make drink that is perfect for cool Fall nights.

Ingredients
Cinnamon sugar (for rimming glasses)
3 sprigs fresh thyme
Juice of half a lemon
6 oz. apple cider
3 oz. bourbon
Ginger beer
Apple slices (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Wet the rim of 2 glasses. Dip them in the cinnamon sugar, then fill them with ice.
In a shaker, muddle 1 sprig of the thyme with the lemon juice. Add the cider and bourbon and shake well.
Use a strainer and pour into the prepared glasses. Top each with some ginger beer (about an ounce each). Garnish with remaining thyme and apple slices.
